Whether you are interested in a permanent or casual lease retail opportunity, market research is an important part of your decision making process. Knowing your target market is a critical component of your marketing plan.
Portico Plaza commissioned a market research report, produced by retail market research expert, Pitney Bowes. We have provided some information from that market research document below.
Further information can also be found on the Holroyd City Council's website.

Research shows that the growth in the total trade area between 2001 and 2006 was mainly in the primary sector, reflecting the replacement of traditional houses with multi-dwelling apartment blocks within the area. The projected trade area population growth is also set to continue predominantly in this primary sector.
[1] Figures were compiled using data from the 2006 Census and projected population figures.
Trade Area Spending
Research shows the overall retail spending market generated by the trade area population is currently estimated at around $354.8 million and is projected to grow to $529.2 million by 2016 representing an annual growth rate of 4.5%.
